SAM is lucky enough to have certain members of the community backing it, giving advice and support along the way. We are incredibly thankful to all our friends as without them, SAM wouldn’t exist. Some members have donated equipment, given company guidance and been personal and business mentors. If you would like to become an official ‘friend’ of SAM, please contact us.

"Having lived in Shoreham for 17 years and bringing up two children, I am fully aware of the lack of musical tuition offered for adults and children in Adur. Schools offer some music tuition, but it is not always the instruments that children would like to play. Home tuition comes with its advantages and disadvantages such as; whether the person is police checked, parents having to be at home when the lessons are in progress and the costs of acquiring an instrument such as a drum kit etc..

I have worked with SAM both as an independent marketer and as a collaborator in producing a workshop for people who have psychological barriers to seeing themselves as singers and musicians. Rob Biss and Ben Stringer have produced an excellent learning environment packed with great technology, performance space and talented tutors. The environment is geared to the success of the individual. They are truly in tune with the needs of their students.
