Donations

If you are passionate about music and want to help us to get people of all ages in the local community involved too, please feel free to call us. Whether you are able to help by donating musical instruments, books or equipment, or would like to provide a monetary donation to help us subsidize lessons or purchase new equipment, we would love to hear from you. It is only because of kind people like you that we are able to help people who are unable to get involved in music. Even if you feel it’s not a lot, every little helps! Thank you.

Bass Amp Matteo Mockler has kindly donated this bass amplifier for use in lessons, the amp is perfect for tuition as it is compact and very loud! The amp currently lives in room 2 where the majority of bass lessons take place.	Midi Keyboard Synth Local paino and theory tutor Helen Ward has kindly donated this keyboard to SAM, along with a set of speakers. The keyboard gets used for accompanying music lessons on a regular basis and occasionally finds its way into the live room for performances or recording.
Overhead projector Well-respected ex-Doctor and president of the Shoreham and Southwick Rotary society - David Gordon and partner Liz were kind enough to fund the purchase of a brand new projector and screen. It is mostly used in the Live Room at the company’s HQ in Shoreham-by-Sea for presentations and many of its courses and workshops.	Piano music books SAM were kindly donated a huge collection of music exercise books in April 2010. They were given to the academy by Susie Hinchliffe, who’s late mother-in-law had collected the books over the course of her life. The books are mostly for piano, and date back as for as 1960’s. They will certainly help numerous upcoming pianists in the future!
