Here at SAM not only do we offer regular workshops for
kids like ‘Rock School’ and ‘Bright Stars’, but we also provide one off
workshop days for kids parties! Usually best done in two age brackets –
Juniors (ages 5-10) and Teens (ages 11-16) we cater to the needs of your
children to make sure they have a great day. Whether your child
likes Beyonce or The Beatles, we can tailor a day around their needs,
and create a truly special, memorable birthday.
• Rock School
party –kids have the chance to try out different rock band instruments,
like an electric guitar, drums, bass guitar, and of course singing!

Bright Stars party – singing and rapping is the game in this party day,
over pop tracks kids love.
• Hip Hop party – if your child
wants to rhyme and rap over hip hop music, this is the party day for
them. Usually more popular with the teen age group.
• Body
percussion party/Drum Up Education Party – this is a fun filled party
for kids where they will learn to work as a team to create great rhythms
and use their own bodies to make fun sounds!

To begin the party,
the guests will have some tuition in the instrument or style they wish
to play, and learn a simple tune! They will then have their song
recorded in our professional studio – Riverside Recording Studio. They
will have their pictures taken, one of which will be used for their very
own album cover! At the end of the day, they will take home a goody bag
filled with a CD/DVD of the song which they recorded, photos of the
day, and vouchers for a free first music lesson at SAM and a discount
voucher to use on any SAM services!
Here at SAM, our tutors are
fully qualified and experienced in working with children of all ages,
and will cater to each individual child to make sure they are learning
and having fun, whether they have played an instrument before, or are
totally new to it.
We also have a range of different workshops
which are great for children with special needs or toddlers, and even
special workshops which focus on caring for the environment. So whatever
your requirements are for your child’s party, we will endeavour to meet
them. Oliver Heath, who runs our Drum Up Education workshops has years
of experience in working with a diverse range of people, and has been
acclaimed for his work with children by Ofsted: “Outstanding! Can’t be
faulted!”.
Drum Up Education kids parties can be done at home or
at SAM, so just let us know what you would prefer!
