The Sussex Academy of Music offers full professional recording facilities, which consists of a state-of-the-art 40 channel Roland digital mixing desk, high performance microphones and a top-of-the-range computer, running Sonar recording, mixing and mastering software. With over £30k worth of equipment, SAM Recording can capture anything from a solo artist, to a full band or musical ensemble. The engineers behind the desk host many years of experience within the field and BA(HONS) degrees in music technology and production. The technicians have specialized in different genres, for example; urban ( DJs and MCs), classical (ensembles, solo artists and those requiring accompaniment), all the way to contemporary (rock, pop and producing dance records).
